In the name of God Amen.  I John RUMNEY of Unthank in the parish of Dalston and County of Cumberland undergoing the infirmities of age, but of sound mind and memory do hereby make my last will as follows.

I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth RUMNEY who now lives with me all my allotment of freehold land situate on Buckabank Common to her and her heirs for ever.  I likewise give her all my household furniture, bedding, and everything now standing in my house at Unthank and the residue and remainder of my money at my decease: after my debts are paid and discharged.  I give and bequeath in equal shares to my Son Thomas RUMNEY my son Joseph RUMNEY and my daughter Mary BECK.  And appoint my daughter Elizabeth RUMNEY Executrix to her and direct and order her to pay my funeral expenses out of the land bequeathed and declare this my last will and testament.  Herby revoking and setting aside all former wills made by me as witness and seal this fifteenth 15th day of January 1810, John RUMNEY X Mark (LJ) Sign’d Seal’d Publish’d and declared to be the last will and testament of John RUMNEY in our presence Timothy STRONG, Stephen RAILTON, Edward RAILTON.
