Thomas Rumney

In the name of God amen I Thomas Rumney of Stockelwath In the parish of Castle Sowerby & Countyof Cumberland yeoman doe make constitue & appoint this my last will & testament in manner form following first and principally I give & bequeath my Soul into the hand of Almighty God my creator hopeing through ye merits of my redeemer jesuss christ to find pardon of all sins & as for such worldly goods & estate as God in his mercy has endowed me with I give and bequeath as followeth

Frist I leave & bequeath unto Jane Halton my eldst Daughter the sum of Ten pounds to be paid by my son and to Ann Corry my younger Daughter I leave ye sum of five shilling both to be payd by my son John three years after my deseass

And ye re rest of my Goods & Chatle movable & unmovable quick & deed my debts & Legacies & funeral expence to be payd & discharged I give & bequeath unto John my son.  Which I make my sole Executor of this my last will & Testament In witness whereof I have here unto sett my hand & seal the 29th day of October 1751
