THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me Sarah Ann Rumney of The Bird-in-Hand Inn Oulton in the Parish of Wigton in the County of Cumberland Spinster I appoint Joseph Hetherington of Wigton in the County of Cumberland Solicitor and Joseph Jackson of Bridge End Farm Low Lorton in the County of Cumberland Farmer (hereinafter called my Trustees) to be the executors and Trustees of this my will I Devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my trustees upon trust that my trustees shall sell call in and convert into money the same or such part thereof as shall not consist of money and shall out of the money produced by such sale calling in and conversion and out of my ready money pay my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts and shall stand possessed of the residue remaining in their hands after making such payments as aforesaid In Trust to divide the same in equal shares between my niece Florence Smith wife of Thomas Smith of 12a King Street, Aspatria in the said County Clara Wigham wife or Robert Wigham of the Bungalow High Lorton and Mary Elize Jackson wife of the said Joseph Jackson and I declare that the said Joseph Hetherington may be employed as Solicitor to act in the trusts of this my will and shall be paid all usual and proper charges for his services In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this fifteenth day of December one thousand nine hundred and thirty.
